Sofa $139, Mattress $109, Treadmill $159.

Drawn, not photographed

Send us a picture of the couch, the mattress or the whole garage situation. We email back one price and lock it in writing. A local crew that passed our checklist carries it out from wherever it's sitting, and you pay after it's gone.

Up to 6 photos. JPG, PNG or HEIC. No account, no app.

Where's it sitting?
Elevator?

Up to 3 flights is included. Above the 3rd floor with no elevator, it's $25 per extra flight.

What kind of building?

That one depends on the building. We're confirming with LA Sanitation what a permitted hauler may take from 5+ unit buildings and businesses. Send it anyway and we'll give you a straight answer the same day.

When do you want it gone?
Time of day

Windows are two hours long. Same-day costs the same as next week.

Where do we send your price?

Brand-new in LA.No money until it's gone.

Loud about it, too. Crews that passed our checklist do the lifting. No money moves until you say DEAL and the pile is actually gone.

Your price doesn't flinch when the truck pulls up

The number we send you is the number you pay, for 14 days, as long as the stuff matches your photos. Found a second mattress behind the first one? The crew prices just the extra, at the same rates, before anyone lifts it, and you can say no.

No deposit. No per-minute meter. Dump fees are already inside the number.

Three flights up. No upcharge

Garage, backyard, bedroom, the balcony nobody has used since the pandemic. Crews carry it out from anywhere on the property, up to three flights of stairs, and take beds and tables apart when they have to. Above the 3rd floor with no elevator, it's $25 per extra flight, and you'll see that before you book.

A treadmill costs $159 from the garage, the 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor. Above the 3rd floor with no elevator, add $25 per extra flight.

Treadmill, 2nd floor: $159. Same as from the garage.

City of LA, one corner at a time

Westside: Palms, Mar Vista, Sawtelle, West LA, Westchester. Central: Hollywood, Koreatown, Mid-City, Silver Lake, Echo Park. Northeast: Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Glassell Park, Mount Washington. South Valley: Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Encino.

Apartment building with 5 or more units? The city's commercial franchise rules apply there, and we're confirming with LA Sanitation what a permitted hauler may take. Send the photo anyway and we'll give you a straight answer the same day. Neighboring cities like Santa Monica, Culver City, Burbank and Glendale have their own hauling rules, so the checker will tell you if we can't come yet.

Sometimes free is the move

If your City of LA home has city trash service and you can get the item to the curb, LA Sanitation picks up bulky items for free on your trash day. Book through MyLA311 or 311 at least a business day ahead. Buying a new mattress? In California, the store delivering it generally has to offer to take the old one at no extra charge.

Snap us a photo when the couch is upstairs or Saturday is the deadline.

The landfill is the last stop, not the first

Stuff with life left goes to donation outlets that will take it that day. Metal, appliances, electronics and mattresses go to recyclers. What's left goes to a permitted transfer station. Then you get an email with drop-off photos and any receipt or scale ticket the crew was handed.

Local crews. Our checklist

Goner doesn't own trucks. We book independent LA hauling companies, and each one has to clear our checklist before it gets a job: a current City of LA AB 939 hauler permit, commercial auto and general liability insurance, two people per truck, and drop-off photos plus tickets for every load. Your confirmation names the company coming to your door.

Partner checklist

  • A current City of LA AB 939 hauler permit
  • Commercial auto and general liability insurance
  • Two people per truck
  • Drop-off photos plus tickets for every load

No checklist, no job. Goner itself holds no hauling permit; the crew company does, and your confirmation names it.

Gone in four moves

  1. Step 1: Snap it

Upload photos here, or tap your stuff in the Pile Pricer.

  2. Step 2: Lock it

We email one price and a few real 2-hour windows. Reply DEAL with the one you want.

  3. Step 3: Load it

We email you when a local crew that cleared our checklist is on the way. They load up and sweep the spot.

  4. Step 4: Pay for it

A payment link lands in your inbox after the truck leaves, with photos of where your stuff was dropped off.

Quick ones

Prices, pickup day, what we take, where it goes, buildings and areas: the long version lives on one page.

No dumb questions

Will the price change when the crew shows up?

Not for anything in your photos. Extra stuff gets priced before it's lifted, and you can say no.

When do I pay?

After the job, by link. No deposit.

How soon can you come?

As soon as today when a partner crew has room. You'll only see windows that are really open.

What can't you take?

Hazardous stuff, construction debris, dirt and concrete. The full list is on the Price Wall.
